Fire Extinguishers
Carbon Dioxide (CO2)
CO2 has been used as a low cost fire extinguishing agent for decades. It is non-conductive, leaves no residue and is very versatile. It can be used in Total Flood, and Local Application Systems and Portable extinguishers. Systems can be operated Manually, Pneumatically or Electrically. Systems can be designed to a recognised standard BS5306 Part 4 1986.

Carbon Dioxide displaces air and reduces the oxygen content to a point where it can no longer support combustion and the cooling effect helps to reduce the chance of re-ignition.
