Fire Blankets - approved to BS EN1869:1997
A range of top quality fire blankets in both white and red packs, slim, flexible or square pack options. Suitable for smothering and extinguishing fires in homes, kitchens, schools, hospitals, laboratories, offices and factories. Thomas Glover fire blankets provide a number of advantages over other blankets commonly available:
  • Ten year guarantee on the cloth
  • 300 gram cloth (1 x 1m) as opposed to commonly used printed circuit board 200 gram cloth. The 200 gram cloth is susceptible to cracking
  • Environmentally friendly water based coating
  • Being single ply and heavy weight gives ultimate combination of user confidence and drape ability, also gives higher insulation value for user safety
  • Full tractability through individual blanket batch numbering
  • Flush end caps for easy cleaning

Complies with the latest European Standard BS EN1869: 1997, which supersedes the British Standard BS 6575: 1985.
